Was cheaper, but would have to rep the psu, vid card, and maybe even the cpu right out of the box.

Yeah the RAM is alright, but it's very low end and one of the most important components.  I'd get better than that if it were me, it's only a few more bucks for better quality stuff.  You don't want your RAM to freak out and fry your mobo.  Also, your mobo is a good one, I've built customer computers with it before.  However, you can find it for $10 cheaper on circuitcity.com

Thanks, I searched for about an hour to find it Tongue Ok, I have updated the links on the main post according to the suggestions so far, the new MoBo link and RAM are up there now. Now I have a different problem I just notcied (with the help of Yankee). Are the rear ports of the MoBo going to fit the rear slot in the case? It looks like the sound ports of the MoBo will be covered by the top PCI slot.

I have never heard of the Seagate Harddrives before, I have this one and it would give you a reliable name brand for the same price and have all the same specs from what my limited knowledge can see..  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073

The mobo should come with a backplate that should adjust for anything you put it in.  Since the case is a mid atx it will fit the mobo fine, or should.  As for the HDD, Seagate is best in class and I'd stick with it if I were you.

ok, the new plan is:

MoBo, CPU, RAM, HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.466557
Vid Card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130572
Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144249

I will pull the dvd drive out of my old pc for the new one, and use the old HDD along with the new one in RAID 0. The PSU will be from the old pc as well, it is the same one linked in the first post, but I already have one installed in the old pc.

Solid, if you are setting a RAID 0 up with the old and new hard drive please read the following:

A RAID 0 can be created with disks of differing sizes, but the storage space added to the array by each disk is limited to the size of the smallest disk. For example, if a 120 GB disk is striped together with a 100 GB disk, the size of the array will be 200 GB.

I wouldn't RAID 0 if you are using two different Hard Drives.
