OK, I just got BC2 on my PC, and I'm playing thru the single player missions.

I'm up to High Value Target, at the point where you are gunner on some light armor, when we're ambushed.

Boss keeps telling me to paint the target. Other that aiming my laser at the orange diamond, what am I supposed to do?

Thanks folks - good to be killing someone again

It's just like spotting the target, I don't know what the button is but it's the same one you use in multiplayer to spot the target so everybody else on your team can see them on their map as well.

P.S. Welcome back TSK!

"Q" spots out enemies. But what I think the game wants you to do is bring out your laser spotter goggles and "paint" the target.

Q is my duck button, and CTRL is my spot enemy button but I changed it to be that way.

OK I'm trying to get into multi, and it asks for my EA account.  I said Create, entered my info, and when I put in my key code it said "already in use"

When did I apparently already create an EA account?

You're probably going to have to contact EA to resolve that issue.

So you have played this online before or this is a new game? Did you create a profile when you first got the game? If so then just log in. I seem to remember having this problem myself but don't recall what it was....Darn morphine!

Just remembered what it was. Did you get the game in disc form? If so some of the discs had a code to get extra free stiff in it and I had been entering that instead of the keycode. Once I entered the correct code it was fine.

I think I figured it out

I bought this off amazon from a third party vendor, under the "used, like new".  I think this was "previously played", and the code registers as already installed....

Looks like I may just have to buy the real thing

I wouldn't spend your money on it to be honest.  It's already getting old and going downhill.

Well it may be old to you guys, if I aint played it, it's a whole new game.

I was impressed: I contacted the vendor on Amazon I got the game from, told them what I found, asked if they had a solution.  They apologized, and refunded my cost! I gave them a good review, since I felt I kinda took a risk buying used, but their ad said it should be fully functional.

So I turned around and ordered the brand new version, which I'll have thursday and may get online by the weekend
