I have between $125.00 to $150.00 to spend. I want something that will take decent pictures at sporting events and can have lenses attached for distance and Panoramic shots as I would also like to take some nature shots. I am going to a STEELERS game In Buffalo next month and a Sabres game in Buffalo in January so I am anxious to get one and get familiar with it when I get paid the beginning of the month so I will be ready for the game/s. Can anyone help me find a decent one? Oh I would think it would need some kind of sports mode to slow the action? Thank you for any help given.

your talking about a dslr if you want to detach and attach lenses. with your budget i dont think i can suggest one. you could probably buy a digital camera with 4x zoom and lcd video. have you tried ebay?

there are some advanced point and shoots that support different lenses for a lot less then DSLRs. I don't know of a specific one though.

DSLR are just a camera like the Nikon D200 it basically allows you to have more functions on the camera to adjust to take picture the way you like. Basically its an all manual camera not a point and shoot. These type also comes with video, but usually professionals use DSLRs or intermediate photographers. I have a Nikon D200 myself and i'd say that it takes way more quality picture than a digital camera because i use it to take picture nd then print out large sizes like 8x10 or 20x12 ect... but if you just print out 4x6-8x10 images then i woul stick to the small cameras becuause you really cant tell the difference.

I get paid on the third of the month and that is when I would be getting one. It looks decent and not to tiny, I HATE tiny. Also will it take extra lenses?

For your price range I'd get the Sony point and shoot http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16830179294The GE above has good stats but I don't know about the brand for cameras, they definitely haven't been doing a great job for a long time like Sony has.

You'll have more camera options at this place: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/For the camera's with changeable lenses you'll probably spend more than $150. But there may be something out there.

Thats a good camera but yeah its small and it only has 4x optical zoom the GE has 15x so i guess if Sir is sitting at a far distance that would be great but if up close than i tould go with the Sony. And plus i'm not sure if it has enough speed capture to have a perfectly still images.

Well the camera looks great and it looks like it does everything you are looking for, however, once again I've never heard of a GE camera before so I would be skeptical about it's quality. Does get good reviews on the circuit city website though.

Thanks for all the info. This is where I will be sitting more or lees but a bit higher up at the top of the first blue row as can be seen on the across from this section. That is where the lowest handicapped seating is. http://www.seatdata.com/html/nfl_bills/section_nfl_bills_137.htm

Just remember, you have to pay up if you lose, which is a great possibility for this bet. So make it something you can afford to lose.

Alright, I actually looked into the game and the Bills this season. The Bills are really fail this year, they are currently 0-6 and have a very good chance of going winless the entire season. I'm not going to take the bet because the odds are stacked too high against me, however, I still think they will pull out there 1 single win of the season against the Steelers, everybody gets lucky somedays!

I highly recommend either of these sites for your research. http://www.dpreview.com/http://www.steves-digicams.com/They have info on lots of cameras, but also info on what the features mean and why you may (or may not) want them. I'm with Steve. That camera he picked out seems like a good choice considering your needs and its features.

Yea I got that as well thank you though. I went and looked right off and the cheapest one is in the $400.00 range which is WELL outside my budget. I am going to order the GE this week but have to get my friends email address for him to be able to pick it up at Wal-Mart for me. I have been doing some reading of reviews on a few sites on it and it has good reviews so that will be it. I should be able to post pics of my redneck CHRISTmas tree finally this year.

Spell check marked that spelling as wrong both times. Odd. Yea you are correct and that is what I thought but it said it was wrong so I went with their spelling. Odd. Not the forum spell check by the way, Firefox spell checker.
