    Spent less than $120 and got myself a 32" SATA cable, Seagate Barracuda 1TB drive, and a Rosewill USB 3.0 external enclosure.   Should be here by Wednesday.

    well seems like a good deal or its like a 7 dollar toaster and a 100 dollar toaster for 100 dollars its plated in gold for 7 dollars it burns the edges and leaves the middle raw

    A barracuda ain't no raptor, but $120. is killer... congrats!
    You know the speed advantages of a Raptor over a Barracuda in RAID 0 aren't that big, especially for the price difference.  If you want to spend more to get the performance it's SSD all the way...
