Gran Turismo 6 in development

Gran Turismo 5 discs are - reportedly - finally being pressed after multiple delays to the game, but creator Polyphony Digital isn't putting the development breaks on.

Mr. Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi, has told AutoWeek that the studio's already at work on the next game in the series.

Asked whether Gran Turismo 6 development was underway, he simply replied: "Yeah.



And when can we expect it to release?

"It's not something that we can talk that lightly on," said Yamauchi. "It took 2,000 days to get all the ideas that went into GT5. It's just too early to be talking about GT6."

Cant wait for this i played Forza a lot because you could customize everything like the old gran turismo and it had better graphics i hope this GT 6 is better than the prologue.

Ya i had gran turismo 2 for the original playstation, where you could customize any of the cars with a wide range of performance parts.  that was one of my favorite parts of gran turimso, which is  one of the reasons why the gt5 prologue was such a big let down.  Also because it was 4-5 hours long and only had 5 or so tracks

Gt5 is coming out november 24th though, and i think ill buy it for myself as a christmas present.  Its gonna take a while to buy all 1,000+ cars >.<

I did not play Gran Turismo 5 but I know that 4 was a bitter disappointment. Was 5 any good?
