nice vid, i saw my name in there a couple times!!
off the topic, but i think we should establish a way to show our clan tag, because it seems everyone is doing it a different way. For example, some of us are [BPN]BPN , BPN, or [BPN], so its looking inconsistent and tacky. Any thoughts?

Yeah it is the same video but i put it on the bpn forums without knowing that schlup had found it and put it up before i did lol and yes we need to fix the bpn thing, we just gotta take off bpn in steam and just leave our name by itself and than we just put bpn in the game as our clan tag.

The only time it shoes up that way is when a game does not allow it. I did try when I started. I will look and see if I can change it. |

But then our name wont have [BPN] in steam, or when we play other games. Maybe we should just use bpn in the steam name and not use the ingame cod clan tag? |

The official tag is [BPN]. Black Ops uses your Steam name but it doesn't allow certain characters (ex: []{}-_ etc...). However, some games use Steam names and accept all the characters. I have no problem with just seeing "BPN YourName" because I know what is happening. If you want to have [BPN] in your name, you have to use the built in Clan Tag option which costs CoD points and if you don't remove your BPN tag from Steam your name looks like: "[BPN] BPN YourName". I have other Steam games so I'm just going to keep "BPN YourName".

I have my clan tag set on Steam, but the brackets are removed in game.
Remove your clan tag from your Steam name. Then in config_mp.cfg (Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\players) alter seta clanName "clantag" to match your clan tag - it will put it in square brackets.

Yeah, I am just leaving [BPN] on my steam name and putting the [BPN] clan tag in game as well so my name reads [BPN] BPN SCHLUP
