Are you sure those aren't KPH on the outside ring and MPH on the inside?  I can't make out the numbers, but it looks like there are fewer numbers with greater distance between the ones on the inside than the outside.

In any case, that is FAST, and that bike has had plenty of mods to get it up to that speed.

I was wondering the same. I once got pulled over in Canada for going 80MPH Cop was like "Do you have any idea how fast you were going" And I said "Yea 80 MPH is the posted speed limit, Canada is cool" And he was like "That is 80 kilometers per hour" and I was like uh, What's a kilometer ?

I looks like KPH is in the middle, and MPH on the outside.

Don't mean to be a negative nancy, but his speedometer only reads 220, where is it shown that he is doing 258? Either way, faster than i trust 2 wheels, was just curious if there was a digital guage i missed somewhere.

Yeah, inner ring is KPH and outer ring is MPH.  He's going fast!

But look at the sitance between the stuff on the outside compared to the stuff on the inside.  In American cars, you have the KM on the inside and there are many more milestones and numbers.  With this one if you look at it, there are several more numbers on the outter ring than the inner ring, which was what made me think that.

I didn't see a digital speedometer...however you can tell he really sunk that bad boy...I don't doubt he did 258...he was a ways past 220...even if you look at when he slowed down, it took a second to even drop below 220.

Well, I reviewed the clip again, and the outer ring is definatly MPH. Inside the inner ring at the bottom, you can make out the Km/H about 3 times during the run, plus the fact that km are smaller than miles, and the inner ring is at 110km/h when the outer ring is at 70mp/h. Also, he is obviously going faster than 220 mph as he hits 220 at 10k rpm, and keeps accelerating up to 11k rpm. But this still does not give an exact speed. Maybe someone had a radar gun...Either way, at 135 mph on a ninja I felt like I was in a jet with no windows, i cant imagine going 258, or even 220.

I guess one of these days I'm going to have to rent one of these bikes to see what all the hype is about doing over 220MPH!

P.S. Is it just me or does he do a wheelie through 3 gears?  That is nuts!  And don't even mention doing 0-220mph in 19 seconds flat...that is pretty sick!
