Battlefield was just a rebound from MW2 but Cod has always been my game and i see myself playing black ops until the next one comes out.

I bought this game, and to me it was well worth the $15.  5 cool new maps, each with conquest and rush, new tanks, vehicles, a huey gunship, and a bunch of new guns?(thought not as many guns as bc2)  Cant really go wrong.  The way the maps are oriented makes for more constant and intense action.  If you liked BC2, then you will like Vietnam.

Also i would like to add that they added 4 new cool maps the normal bc2 and they are pretty sweet, its worth it to go back and check them out.

I think I will be getting this today looks really good and the new maps ... are awesome !!! I love heavy metal the must there can be up to 8 tanks and 4 helicopters on the field at once !

Only 1 or 2 maps had vehicles.
The maps were too dark.
You can barely see players from far.
It seemed like every game that i spawned i got killed instantly.
Most of the weapons are the same except for a few.
Not enough vehicle.
The spotting(Orange triangle) is too dark and you can barely see it and same goes for the friendly marker.
Overall i just didn't like it i prefer to play bc2 over Vietnam.

I'll be the other side to this review!

1. Every map has vehicles; but theres one map with only boats (Cao Son Temple).  Maybe you were in a no vehicle server?

2. I havent really noticed maps being too dark. They're all in the daytime, except parts of Hill 147 might be dim because of all the ash in the sky from the napalm. Is it too dark when your in the jungles? You should try turning up the brightness in game or on your monitor maybe.

3. Try squinting or getting  a weapon with a scope, raising resolution or turning on AA, and also playing the game more will make u better at spotting distant marines / vc against the environment.

4. Sounds like user error    try spawning somewhere else then!

5. Actually every weapon is different, as they are all Vietnam era weapons.  Sure, BC2 has an M16A4, RPG, and M60E4, but the weapons in Vietnam have different models and characteristics (the rpg probably fires the same though)

6. Not sure if you mean not enough vehicle variety or not enough vehicles per map.  As for variety, there are no APC's in vietnam as there are in BC2, but then again they weren't really invented yet.  And theres only 1 type of helicopter, because as far as i know the VC weren't doing any chopper raids with hind's    If your talking about vehicle quantities, it hasnt really changed from BC2.  The bigger maps have 2-3 tanks, 2 or so jeeps, and a helicopter per team.

7. I never really use spotting so i can't comment on that

I didnt like it and this is coming from someone who has played a lot of fps games and i am not a noob i know how to spawn and where to but any point that i spawned in i got killed instantly, also all i said before coco wanted a "review" was that i didnt like it and didnt think it was worth it i guess its just a matter of opinion and taste in different games.
