well i wanted a place for the wow players to call home. But linked from our website ill pay for it but need help setting up. So it would look something like this

I'll look over the site, Fallen. I've used a few sites like guild launch, and those sites pretty much build themselves. Just create an admin account and start building. These sites usually have ads and banners that can be rather annoying, but with pay services they can be removed. If anyone else wants to hop in and take this over, I'll help where I can. My PC is getting ready to get all packed away for it's trip to its new home. It will be February before I could give any real attention to building a site, or assisting in building a site.

yes i would have it on our home page and link both ways and the banners on the wow site would rep the rest of bpn like as in fps night and stuff like that i think its just a way to get more wow members to stay they comke then go right away and i think its do to not having enough to offer them as far a mmo comes so im just tossing this up in the air we will talk more in the admin meeting about it

I think Monkey was supposed to see if there were just packages that could be added to plug into the software that the BPN site is already running on.  Whatever the case, it seems like a lot of extra work to build out everything from scratch if there's already something out there that's been designed, tested, and refined. 

Fallen, you probably don't need to do a lot on that site that you'd need help with, unless there is some functionality that you want added.  I'll bet it's already got about everything you would need.  You'll just need to set up an admin account and get content on there.  We have some content, and I can give you some more.  I have a bad connection where I am now, so I can't play, but I can help you build out content.

My development expertise is not in the area of web development, but I can do XSLT, SQL, and some php/asp if necessary.

It's unnecessary to make something like that on another site, find out what CMS it is using and we can put it under the BPN domain.

What do you mean? It should be a separate entity entirely with its own TS, website, etc?

I think that's what he means, it separated the clan into the "WoW people" and the "WOT people" and the "Other people who play FPS"

lol it hasnt hurt anything we all play diff games. Aka gaming community u shouldnt shun anyone for what they like even if it puts a bad tast in ur mouth

I want to make it clear that this is a gaming COMMUNITY, yes, I know our banner screams FPS and yes I think it should be changed to be more universal and to actually play off the BPN name instead, and yes I know what I want it to look like and am working on getting that done.  But no we aren't going to create different sets of websites, we aren't going to create different sets of teamspeaks or different sets of forums.  We can do some subdomain stuff like we used to have for the competitive teams but I want the homepage to remain neutral because we play all kinds of games, weather it be FPS games, MMORPG games, or RPG games it doesn't matter, and guess what, the games we're playing now won't necessarily be the games that we play in 6 months or a year, some people will stick with the same game and some people will try and migrate to other games. 

I honestly don't like the negativity toward different games either, we are and have always been about multiple games, it doesn't matter what type of game it is, if it's played on the PC then it's a game.  If you don't like a game then that's fine but don't hate on it, if you want to post up an honest review of the game that is well thought out then fine.

But we're not going to have people going to multiple websites, when they can all be hosted under this one, you just need to be specific about what exactly you would like to see and we'll work on making it happen.
