Please use this forum topic to discuss this boss fight strategy.

Attached is a picture comparing two different ways of moving Rhyolith.

i think blue takes to long. we need to push that phase fast we need to get it in under 5 min. after 5 min he gets super heated every 10 sec it stacks and i think if we get phase 2 right at 5 min marker i think we still can down him. we hit phase 2 with 14 stacks of super heated and still got him down to 1.2 mil i think if we start phase with no stacks  or just a few we will have him so at 20 stacks we have yank and shadow switch to legs ill help with little adds and then u just tank spark y i pwn legs to so we can push phase all adds die after phase starts. but i think we got him figured out temp drives we got it

The problem we are having is volcanoes are spawning all over the place, all across the island, which means it takes longer for him to get over to him and stop them, we should have the full turn from the blue method completed before the first stomp.  Then he's already on track and in position to be steered easily.  Volcanes should spawn right in front of him and can quickly and easily be stomped without putting undue stress on the healers that can allow healers more mana and cds for final phase.  Not to mention having the fire lines coming from the outside completely negates half of them because they will be going out into the lava and makes everything much easier to see and avoid when the center is clear.  The strat posted above is what we ended up going to and downing the boss with two different groups that I have been in.  I wouldn't have mentioned anything but we obviously have some problems with our current methods or we would have had the boss down already.  I'm just trying to make suggestions on what might work better.

Obviously we can't try this strat just once and then toss it out, a certain amount of RNG is going to be required to make it perfect but I just know this way has been MUCH easier to do than what we have been doing.  We're making it too hard on ourselves.
