I am looking for an LED BACKLIT tv in the $700-$800 range.Must be LED BACKLIT and please no Vizeo's as they are all crap and have poor CS when they do break down.

Edit: I wanted to give some more info on what I am looking for as I was on phone when I first typed this.

1. I don't care about 3DTV as because of problems with my eyes I have never been able to see anything in 3D anyway.

2. I would like HDTV

3. I would like to find one that would fit in my current entertainment center and that gives me 37 1/2" to work with.

4. I could pull the coffee table over and put it in front of the entertainment center but would like to avoid this if possible but if price was right I would.

5. I would like one that could connect to Netflix but don't think that is a reality with my price range.

6. I watch a lot of sports so would like something that would be good for that.

7. I did find this one that would fit but could get bigger for the same price. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004OOVIDQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Thank you in advance for any help given.

I do believe that a 37" TV is bigger than 37 1/2"

you need to get OD (Outside Dimension) of the TV
so it might end up being a 35" due to the boarder around the screen

Measure your entertainment center diagonally please.  This one should fit, however it's $810.  This is the best of the best, full 1080p, 120hz 32" TV with ethernet connection to hook up your netflix.  Samsung is the best player in the game right now, especially for LED.  This is what I would get if I were you.  You can probably price shop the model number and find it a bit cheaper.  I've heard that Amazon is the spot to buy big screens online.

Yeah $692 on Amazon, had to add to cart to figure that out but it comes with free shipping too and they do the good shipping on TVs, I think they even bring it in and set it up for you.

I don't have a tape measure that I can find but it was made to hold an old style 36" TV so I would think there is quite enough room. I don't have time right now but I have the manual for the Entertainment Center and will see if that gives the info.

better to measure twice before you buy Smiley
than to set it infront of the entertainment center on
the coffee table!!

So Wal-Mart lies. I went and bought a Samsung TV and they said it was 1080 and 120hz well they lied, it is 720 and I can't find any info online as far as the Hz. goes. It is badly ghosting just watching TV interviews and I am very disappointed. It is going back ASAP

that would suck!!

I think as long as it is returned within the first 72 hrs
their might not be a re-stocking fee

Yes it would. I have to pay someone to come over and unhook it and re-box it and carry it down for me.

Well after messing with it the cords seemed to be the problem with the picture, it is fine today. I still think I am going to return it though based on being lied to on the features. Other thought is keep it till I can get a big one like I like then use this one as a computer monitor. Any thoughts on how it would work?

If it's 720p, then it wouldn't make a good monitor.

Yeah, even if it's 1080p you'll still only be able to run 1920x1080, I currently run 1920x1200 so it'd be a downgrade for me, but they don't make many monitors with this resolution anymore for some reason.
