So i got my Asus D2X in the mail today. ok well ill start it off with my story. i spent 2-3 weeks trying to get my Audigy 2 ZS to work. i got this horrendous cracke. like static. well to my audiophile ear. i wanted to smash my speakers in the wall every time i listened to anything. well so i figured ehn my card was going to crap. ill buy a new one. so i did. SAME thing. after hours of phone time with creative. NOTHING. so i said who knows. so ill buy the Xfi Titanium Fatality. an upgrade while fixing my sound problem! NOT! i was constantly working on sound issues. every ten minutes something new was going wrong. WAS A HEADACHE. talked to support again. LOL a joke. i came across this card while talking with support over the course of a few days. well after creative decided to blame EVERYTHING else in my pc, after trying a diff pc and new parts well you can guess where i told them to shove it. well theres my adventure onto the card.

This card is amazing. well put. aesthetically, musically, aurally its just an amazing card. in my opinion, and as MANY others who have switch have stated, it makes creative look like a joke. games, play about the same as my xfi did, but with higher quality and no static crackle.

Music is a whole nother story. wow. i mean seriously i hear stuff i never heard before. you can actually hear the drum stick smack the head of the drum. its almost SO crisp and clear it bugs you at times lol.

all i gotta say. is its an amazing card. bit pricey. but to get rid of my static....it was cheap =]
