I don't know if anybody else has been following it but I have had my eye on the Palm Pre for about a month now.  It's supposed to come out within the next month or so and I am gonna pick one up when it does!  It recently received "Best of Show" in the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show...kinda a big deal.  Anyways, here's a link if you want to find out more about this new "iPhone killer".

Dude I know I had my eye on it when CES came out and revieled it. I even like the portable charger that just clips on the back. or even the scroll through all ative windows you have.

Yeah, the iPhone is overrated in my opinion.  Don't get me wrong, there are alot of great things about it but it's not the master of all and the Pre is definitely going to show the iPhone what's up!

Well that phone isnt too bad but i recommend to look at these phones first and they might have what you'll like. They are called Nokia a very good cell phone company and they certainly have what i really like and i had for about 2 years now and it's like a MP3 player/Video player(with Real Player)/portable software or file holder. It also has a great camera on it 2.0 MP.

The website to Nokia phones

My Nokia phone (Nokia N76) Specs.

[they said the memory can be update to 2GB, but you really can upgrade it to an 8GB, thats what i have.]

These phones are also VERY Durable and they last forever and they are also "UNLOCKED" phone meaning you can put any sim card in to the back of the ohone and just use it.

Not bad but my requirement for a phone is that it is a smartphone or pda phone.  It has to have a full keyboard, full access to email including push email from a corporate exchange server.  It also must have a full internet browser and must overall be the bleeding, cutting edge of technology and do things you could never imagine your cell phone to do.  All of these are fullfilled by the Palm Pre.

That phones not bad, don't get me wrong...I used to be a HUGE Nokia fan several years ago, but then other phones emerged that were more technologically advanced and left Nokia in the dust.  Now they have kept up for the most part but I wouldn't say they have had anything "cutting edge" in many many years.  If they would start putting initiative into building new stuff that people have never seen before that people could really use then they would be considered cutting edge again.  But for some reason I don't see that happening...I think they are happy with their current market share.

They announced today that it will be released for sale on June 6th and will carry a price tag of $199.99 after $100 MIR and 2 year agreement.  Guess that means full price on it will be $450 or $500 which is how much I am going to have to spend.

Well I got the phone first thing on launch day...been playing with it ever since and it is pretty sweet.  I still don't think I have even scratched the surface with it though.  I'll give more review later on.
