Hello all Members, new and old,
Where are all the Members who play Counter Strike? We can not abandon it because of CoD being so Popular can we? If anyone still plays CSS or is still interested in playing , make a post here and lets just see how many reply....Lets turn this thing around and get some more active members in the Game of Counter Strike. Now I am not pulling anyone from COD by no means whatsoever, but We still need more active members to play Counter Strike...Let me know Guys....Runforcover

Hey buddy,
Im trying to get on, but I seem to be playing CODWAW on my 360 while I am at home for the summer. Hopefully when I get back to school at the end of August I will be back up and playing more CCS. My internet at home(DSL) just doesnt make playing CCS any fun. If you guys want to set up a night to play I'll try to get on. It would also have to be late since I work until 9 or 10 (eastern time) at least 5 days a week.

well in my point of view our CSS server shouldnt even be up anymore cause heardly anyone is on it anymore. so i think that we should take it out and put more slots in either our COD server or somethin els.

We took the PWN FACTORY server down because it was NEVER getting used. We will always leave a CSS server up for those that want to play the game in a safe haven from all the BS that goes on with other servers. Plus we still have members that play the game and those members donate to BPN to keep the server alive so they deserve to have a CSS server on there. With the 5-6 CSS members I could wrangle up and ask, they ALL said to keep the GunGame server up.

Well, steven, thats not gonna happen. I became a Member of BPN for the fact that they had CSS, I then was a captain on leagues and ladders. If CSS was to leave BPN, I am sure a few would leave including myself. I would like to here soon get the game COD but money is tight and I have to stick to Counter Strike. Moreover, if you dont have the game Counter Strike, you should get it, you may like it lol... |

I'm sharing a compy with 3 people so I am unable to play as much as I would like. Once I am able to get my own, I will play the gg alot more. If more donations are needed to keep it up and running, please let me know. I'd hate to see the server disappear.

I just joined BPN because of CSS as well.
I will always be playing it.
Perhaps if we can get a definite number of people who are playing we could all arrange a time to play and possibly compete.

If I am allowed to become a full fledged member of BPN I would love to get with a high ranking member of BPN and talk about the possiblity of my promoting CSS in association with BPN.
I have been a recruiter and high ranked offical in clans for Medal of Honor Allied Assault.
I would hate to see a great game fall out of BPNs rep because of a limited amount of players.

CSS and BF2 were the main reasons i found my way over here, thanks to google. And yeah, you'll be seeing me a bit on the CSS servers, assuming there's others playing aswell. Not much fun pwning bots 24/7 :p What i got a bit disappointed over was to see there was a GG server but not WC3 or hero mod. Considering that is what i play the most these days. 23 years old but still love them. If there were to be a new CSS with wc3 consider me an inhabitant in it  And i would try help out bringing players to it aswell. |

Yeah I have played on WC servers years ago, it was cool if you played it all the time. The problem was that those that did play there all the time would have such an advantage over new people that it was no fun for new people. Made it very inhospitable to new comers. There was a certain stickness value to it but at a certain point it would be just the same old people playing there all the time which isn't even any fun for those people.

Hmm, links.. -browse google- There are some, mostly german ones. But those are old mod versions and I dont know much about how people do get them, I just know how to play them with my mates and know my way around some of the config related stuff.
From what I have seen it's really popular and I've played 3-4 really big servers who are dead serious.
And sure, it can be frustrating with people who got no life's and get the top level in a week or two, but there's always ways to keep some fair play by ex. having server resets now and then, or settings xp and skills low, and customizing races.
Heck, I'd even help out with maintaining it and chip in to keep it up I suppose. Once/if i come out of my trial time alive and can become a full BPN junior and then apply as admin to help out a bit extra.
