ok, so the mamba arrived yesterday, the packaging is awesome, the mouse looks and feels great. 3 things that i noticed - no side scroll on mouse wheel (weird), and you have to turn the mousse off to charge it faster (4 hours to charge) and the charging indicator never shows full charge when cradled. I will play with it today and report more.

I had a side scroll on my MX, but I never used it. Let me know how your game play is after you mess with it some more.

so far not good, the pointer jumps around alot and mistracks when u pick the mouse upa nd set it down, great for minor adjustments while aiming, but horrible for quick and close fighting. gunna try to adjust it a bit.

How about the gaming, any lag or latency that you've noticed coming from a wired mouse?

How long does the battery last? Can you get a second battery and have it charging while you are playing?

it doesn't have that option, and removing it is a pain, lasts like 3 hours. might have to run it with the cord . . . .

What's the point of wireless if you have to run a cord to it. Maybe your's is defective, have you searched on the issue to see what kinda time others are getting?

not to thread resurrect or anything, but i just got my G500 in the mail the other day. For those of you that dont know, the logitech g500 is basically an updated G5. Slightly changed ergo's, redesigned thumb buttons, and a dual mode scroller. ive been loving it so far, way more that my microsoft sidewinder (bad bad mouse
)

No, that's the point, if there's a thread on the topic then post in it. That's why we have the search feature at the top. Or you can start a new one, I really don't care. Anyways, do you have a link for the new mouse? Or pics?

Thank you for the pics, won't work for me because there is no right side button on the mouse, just two on the left side. You'll still have to give us a full review when you get a minute.
