Counter Strike Source Settings
There are three settings that need to be entered into your console in game to allow it to run the best that it can.

To enter these settings in game simply hit the "~" key and it will bring up your console screen. Once there enter, one at a time the following.

cl_cmdrate 101
cl_updaterate 101
rate 30000

Your game should now be running super smooth like it was meant to run! Good luck and if you have any questions about this let me know.

thanks for the advice.  i like setting my fps_max 101 so that my computer doesn't have to work overtime and the human eye can't tell the difference really after so many fps.
