schlup warned me, but i had to buy it cuz i played rtcw long ago and was on 4 teams competing in twl and cal for like 2 years, loved it.
but the new wolfenstein is so bad that i cant believe it. the effects are awesome, the models and skins are horrible and the gameplay is probably the worst ever. ranks right up there with far cry 2.
do not buy it!!!!
it will get a metascore of 35 prolly.

Yes! Another person who thinks Far Cry 2 stunk. I wasted $50 on that trash. The only thing good from that game is the way the fire spreads. Other than that, it's way too repetitive.

How about this, just only buy games when I tell you to. You will not be disappointed that way.
First game I recommend that EVERYONE get is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Also to prove this fact you will be able to play the beta before it comes out for free.

Had to post to this. I was a very big fan of RTCW, it is still one of my favorite games today. I am also extremely disappointed with the new Wolfenstein, especially since I was looking forward to it. Gameplay is terrible, the single player graphics look cool. I only played the game about twice and think I just might junk it.

I will have to agree with OP.... "wolf 2" for the most part bites the big one . single player was the best part then i went to multi..... the first week or so was ok the play was kinda intense then one day when i logged in all my stats and unlocks had been reset  .... this started happening to more and more people, and last i checked there still had been no response to this issue.. so yah wolfencrap would be just about right......... |

Wolfenstein 3-D on a floppy disc is probably my first real FPS memory, so i felt kind of obligated to play through this new Wolfenstein. I pretty much had to force myself to sit down and take the beating. Decent graphics, easy gameplay, boring and redundant missions. Gore was good, and it had a scary moment or 2, but altogether it was an "ok" game at best. I wont play it ever again :  |

Yeah, I started with Wolfenstein 3D on floppy disk too! At least for PC gaming...man those were the days of straight pwnage!
