Dude, first off your sig is way too long.  Why don't you put those user bars side by side?

Ok, as far as sports, NASCAR is NOT a sport, anybody can drive a car.

ALL of your hobbies are SPORTS!  I agree with your not a sports.

And I'll raise you Rugby as a sport and badmitten!

As a used to be skateboarding addict for 10+ years, I have to insist that Skateboarding/in-line skates/ice skating is a sport.  Perhaps not a mainstream sport, but a sport none the less.  When I was in HS, we used to play hockey all the time, and skateboarding requires far more dedication, practice, hard work and coordination than hockey.

So what are you saying Destro...the rest of the hobbies are not sports?  Are you saying that Golf is not a sport?

I didn't say anything about golf.  There has to be a point at which something is a game and not a sport.  Is golf where we draw the line?  I don't know.  Maybe if you don't break a sweat doing it, it's not a sport?  Beats me.

Bass fishing is not even remote to a sport.  I am out of shape and I can easily sit in a bot with the proper lures and catch a fish.  The winner is the one who gets the fattest fish.  Luck!  It's not like he gets to see what the other guy has, he bring back what he thinks is the biggest fish in the river/lake.

Bowling is not a sport either.  Even though my best Ever was in the mod 170s, I was never at one point winded or sweating.  Yes, I was competing against a friend and I will say you have to have skill to curve the ball to hit at the right angle, but a sport?  No.

I did indeed, unless you just edited your top post which it says you did.  Any ways, I could argue that both Bass Fishing and Bowling are sports.  I mean they do have tournaments and competitions right?  I think that is the defining characteristic of a sport!

I whole heartily DISagree with calling inline/skateboard not a sport. I was on the pro tour for inline for 2 years before i joined the military and skating is one of the most competitive sports ive ever done.

Funny, one of my college roommates went pro in-line for a little while, too.  He had the longest handrail grind record at the time.  I don't remember the length.  I'm sure it's been doubled by now.  One of his friends came and stayed with us once in a while and also did the rail, and his grind was the only one to make any videos. Skip did have some parts.  They didn't include the grind, though.  I can't remember his friend's name (Dave something maybe?).  I think he was known for big rails and stuff back then.  That was almost 15 years ago, so he's most likely retired.

The longest grind i know of is Chris Haffey doing a grind estimated at 666ft. I say estimated because there was 111 supports on the rail spaced at 6 feet.
