Heh, I don't know what you're surprised about Obama will be pushing for the same thing in a few months.

yay but what people don't relize is that even though you put a ban on a item (cigraretts, violent video games, etc.) you actually make the econimy worse then it is. With all this extra tax to packs and cartons of cigs combine with the banning of smoking in public places you cut the sales of those items. As far as I see cutting sales of anything means instent kill for whatever company now a days. Even though it seems like a good idea to stop them selling cigs I saw it is a bad idea. One you make those companies lose money which means that w/e state tax they have is gone, also your looking at loosing hundreds of thousands of jobs. It would be the same thing for violent video games. With the gamers out there now I do believe that at least 80% if not higher play violent video games and such are the number one selling genre. If you cut those games down and ban them then who would by such games that would be good more for the wii then anything. I think they should stop talking about a ban and put an age limit on all rated games. Like m rated games should be limited to only those that are the gamer be 18+. and teen rated games should be at 13+. Also if you think oh parents will just buy the games for the kids then you thought wrong. In california they had done something like this where only 18+ yr old gamers can buy the games. and for any store to sell to a parent (who buys it for their kids) or a person that is under the limit will get fined alot. I know gamestop, walmart, and bestbuy all check you ID when buying a game. But when it is a parent they do not ask if their kid is under the age of 18. So yay if Obama does start talking about a ban I would fight agianst him all the way.

Hugo is over Venezuela correct? They just won their 2nd Miss Universe Pagent 2 years in a row. Anyways, I don't really care what goes on in Venezuela because it doesn't effect me...I mean there are no game developers in Venezuela, we don't have any members in Venezuela, we don't even have any people that play on our servers from Venezuela. Plus I really don't see how they are going to ban it, this is the internet age and gamers are experts when it comes to the internet. They'll just start downloading the games and have digital copies of it. No way they will be able to ban games in the USA, there's too much money in it and when you have too much money in it you have political lobbiest. They could try to make the age limit 21+ but that's about as far as they could think about taking it.
