How about a little bet? STEELERS Titans I take the STEELERS to win and looser has to use signature of winners choice for a month. I'll be sure to pick you a good one since the STEELERS will win. I won't be back on line till next month so I would have to start to wear it then.....NOT THAT I WILL HAVE TO.

LMAO...he has a good point you know...you both need to make your signature smaller, when I think it's too big and I'm running 1920x1200 on a 24" monitor, it's TOO big! Just think how all those people feel that have 17" monitors!

I disagree with alot of things the titans did at the end. Oh well Tennessee will still go all the way this year and if big ben keeps playing like that the steelers wont do nothing.

Right..and Jerry Rice won't make the hall of fame. Collins looked good, but Ben looked better. Collins completed 63% of his passes, had 1 TD, 244 yards and 1 INT. Ben completed 77% of his passes, had 1 TD, 363 yards and 2 picks, but one was off a hail Mary to end the second half. You can't really hold that against him. He completed how many passes in a row 11? He went 16 for 18 in the 4th quarter and overtime. Sounds to me like we've got a sore loser. Next time you want to bash the team that just beat you, you should try to base it in reality. If Ben's performance was so terrible that it's enough to make the Steelers suck all year (which is total fallacy), then why did the Titans lose? |

Ok destro one thing though how many of those passes wern't screens in the game. I just wanna say every time he was going to throw it was short little stuff hardly any long balls. Also Schlup IDC if the Steelers won yes Tennessee couldve tried at the end but they didn't and they messed up. Als I do believe all but the last two drives for the Steelers the Titans made them look like they were not as good as what people think. So yeah I am not a sore loser I will take that defeat as a lose but I will say that the Steelers wont do as good as last year. This is still the first game. Ben wont last long if he keeps holding the ball like he did. Just wanted to say that. Oh and who said anything bout Jerry Rice not making it to the HOF I thought he was. OH and finally FYI how far di Finnagan get with that last pick of the half. So yeah it wasn't just because the short passes by Ben but the Titans lose because of penaltys. How many did They have. So yeah the Titans didn't step up but they still got 15 more games to go.

The Jerry Rice comment was just sarcasm. Kinda like "monkeys might fly out of my butt".
He made like 30+ passes to Ward, Holmes, and Miller. Exactly how many of those were screens? He averaged 11 yards per completion. Collins averaged 11.1.
The Steelers scored at the end of the first half. That was not one of the last two drives. Did the Titans also make them look like they weren't as good as people think during that drive? To be honest, I thought the Titans made Pittsburgh look good. The Titans are a good team with a good D. The fact that Pgh was able to beat a team like that says a lot for them. Same goes for the flip side. Pittsburgh hasn't lost anyone significant in free agency and improved their punter which was desperately needed. They are a good team, and for the Titans to take that to overtime and barely lose says a lot for them as well. If they both continue to play like that, then I would not be surprised to see them again in the AFC Champ game.
Ben has been holding the ball like that his entire career. It's not like it's new. The more common thing is definitely to get rid of it. I agree there, but to be honest, I wouldn't mess with a formula that has been working and won them two super bowls. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
I'm not sure what the significance is of the return on that pick at the end of the half.
FYI, Pittsburgh had 6 penalties for 60 yards, and the Titans had 5 for 28 yards. Goes to show that the Titans didn't lose because of penalties. They lost because The Steelers were the better team. It could have gone either way, and if the Titans won, I wouldn't have been crying about that horrible pass interference call on 43.

One Schlup get your teams right it was the Texans that they lost to. but how did those rams do... HMMMM I wonder. The jets are next week and Tennesse will make the rookie QB look like the rookie he is. The titans will start rolling over people next week. They have a new D-Cordinator so I was expecting some hassel with that. However They will have their stuff together. So the rams wont have any chance on them. I just figure out a good bet for ya yet but I got time to think.

I definitely like to see people sticking by their team instead of just jumping on the band wagon like Dark did with the Titans (jk, Dark). I've never been to a Raiders game, but I have been in the bay area on game day a few times. I was on BART one day with a bunch of Raiders fans.
