When it comes to people saying that they have trouble setting up a Gamepad for FPS games. ive seen multis of mistakes and made them also. but this one is by far the best ive come accross and is what i use right now.
it has the same basic setup as a keyboard for your w,a,s,d,e,q, sprint,crouch,and scoreboard as tab.
the only difference is your reload, grenade,spec grenade, knive, and prone. but this setup really does work wonders your fingers dont get cramped from nonusage. and with a palmrest gamepad it is even easier for you.
D-pad setup:
forward/away from u: reload
Back/ Towards u: Spec nade
down/ to ground: lay down
up/ to ceiling: Knive
Tap button above D-pad: Grenade.
Top right Keypad button: talk
i use the actual keyboard for #6 use of arty and dogs but you can also set it for one of the 3 bottom right keys on the keypad. as they are left spares

There's this "thing"? It's called a "mouse"? You move the "cursor" to "target" people? Then you "press the button"?
And there's this "other thing" called a "keyboard" that has "keys"? And the "keys" are in the same layout on all of the "keyboards"? And, like, if you learn it once, no matter where you go, it all works?
LOL

oh and BTW acid there is a mouse use even with this gamepad lol.
this just takes the place of everything else
but watch out theres a knife on its way

So... to knife me, you'd do what? It appears that you require seven fingers per hand to work that setup.
We'll see who knives who...
