It's only been a hour, but I'll throw up a review anyway.

The packaging was neat, subtle, yet modern like most gaming mice.  The mouse weight was pretty heavy even with the 5g weight already pre-inserted.  They do supply a 10g, 15g, and 20g weight set.  I am currently using a 15g weight.
    For you non-Europeans, g = grams.

Set up was a bit of a pain since my keyboard did not recognize it.  Once I had everything good to go, I installed the drivers from the disc, rebooted, and had fun.

You open up your ROCCAT program and you can customize it more than the specs say.

In the first tab you can set your macros, sensitivity, DPI (I'm running at 1600.  Max is 3200).  Scroll speed, button assignment, and double click speed.

Second tab you mod the color scheme.  You have up to five different color options at once.  What?  There are five LEDs in the mouse, each one can be configured to be different colors to fit your needs.  I currently have three dark blue and two whites.
Not only that, but you can add effects.  Move the colors clockwise, counter clock, up-down, left-right AND MIX IT WITH pulsing, blinking (though both have the same effect) and heart beat.
AND EVEN MORE!!!  You can adjust the speed of the effects.
And you have the option to turn everything off.

Third tab are the advanced settings.  X-Y sensitivity along with advanced sensitivity option, mouse accelaration, Windows pointer speed, tracking control (calibrates your mouse to your mouse pad), polling rate (125Hz, 500Hz, 1GHz), and a driver reset in case you mess up aling the way.

Final two tabs are update and help.

You can also create up to five different profiles.

Camera batteries died, so no pix yet.

There is some getting used to since the speed of the mouse is quick.  I spent about an hour trying to have a good gaming speed where I can be fast and accurate.

Nope.  It's a subtle change and the lights are not as bright as some other lights you would normally see.

Why don't you just decreased the DPI and run it closer to where you were running it before and what you are used to instead of trying to get the most out of the mouse.  I just don't think those high resolutions are realistic, I mean who uses those high DPI stuff anyways?
