How embarrassing! What really bad is that he was wearing a Navy uniform at the time!! The only benefit is that he was only an Airman (E-3) and not a more senior rank. A relative newbie.

Not really the stupidest bid, that is the smartest bid considering she knew he would be over. I thought the stupid bid was the 60K

That's what everybody is saying, that the guy made the stupid bid.  I mean honestly, $250K?  Then tries to make it better with $60K?  If he would have just gone with what Bob thought he said at $250.00 he would have won both showcases!

I think you need to be within 100 to win both showaces.  If he bid 250, she would have bid $251 and still won.
